Obituary of Salvatore Ciccia
Ciccia, Salvatore Anthony “Sam”
Passed away at the Guelph General Hospital on Monday, July 31, 2023, at the age of 62 years. He was the partner and best friend of Anne Marie Postma. Loving father figure to Christina Furfaro (Brad), Moira Wyrd (Karl), Jessica Postma (Nick) and Anna Furfaro (Rob). Cherished Opie to Colton and Eli. He will be missed by his parents Stella Anderson (Paul) and Ralph Ciccia. Sam was the dear brother of Emily Evans (Don), Tina Bonesso (Oscar), Lisa Ciccia (Julian), Joe Ciccia and brother-in-law of the late Rick Postma. He will also be fondly remembered by his mother and father in law Riek and Gerda Postma, many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Special thanks are extended to Dr. Beecroft of the University Health Network in Toronto and all of the care staff at Guelph General Hospital for their compassionate care of Sam. Family and friends are invited to Brombal Funeral Home & Cremation Care (formerly Gilchrist Chapel), One Delhi Street, Guelph on Sunday, August 6, 2023 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. in the Lower Level of the funeral home. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Diabetes Association of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
