RAYES: Margaret Anne Sarah “Sally”
Dr. Sally Rayes of Apsley passed away with her daughter at her side at PRHC on Friday May 26, 2023 in her 78th year. Sally was the loving wife of Dr. Wagdy Rayes (d. February 3, 2023). Loved by her daughter Margie Bailey (Simon) of Sydenham. Dear grandma of Patrick and Tomas. Beloved sister of Patricia Hurtubise (d. 2020) and Eileen Slattery (deceased). Sally adored her nephew Marc Hurtubise (Lori Maloney) and nieces Kate (Alain Plante) and Karen (Karl Smith). She is also survived by many Rayes and Yacoub in-laws and several nieces and nephews on Wagdy’s side. Predeceased by her son, Patrick (d. 1989). A funeral service will be held at the North Kawartha Community Centre on Sunday June 4, 2023 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will commence at 11:30 AM. Interment to follow the funeral at Apsley Union Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Community Centre.
