Lawrence, Ryan Jonathan “Larry” – Suddenly, from complications of pneumonia on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at the Georgetown Hospital. Ryan, 21 years of age, beloved son of Lori and Greg Lawrence. Loved brother of Evan. Loving grandson of Madeleine Marks and the late Fred Marks and Agnes and Jim Lawrence. Loved nephew of Bob Marks, Dean (Debbie) Marks and Jim (Stephanie) Lawrence. Dear cousin of Adam, Zachary, Liam, Abby, Andrew and Kate. Life-long best friend of Cas and Carmen. Ryan will be sadly missed by his special companions Murphy and Suzie. Ryan will be forever remembered by his family and friends for his sense of humour and his love of sports. Ryan was a gifted athlete who excelled in both hockey and lacrosse. He was a leader in many things including penalty minutes and spearheading the lobster liberation club at school. He loved to smile and share good times with his many friends. Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Friday, March 3rd from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 14400 Argyll Road, Georgetown on Saturday, March 4th, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow in the hall. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Tourette’s Syndrome Clinic, at UHN Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
