Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we mourn the passing of an amazing man. Rudy Weber passed away peacefully on August 7, 2023, at Innisfree Hospice in Kitchener. Loving husband and best friend of Emmi, his wife of 64 wonderful years. Best Dad to Karen and her husband Jim, and to Stephen and his wife Ursula. Amazing Opa to his three grandchildren, Jenna, Jamie and Olivia all of whom had a special place in his heart, and of whom he was incredibly proud of. Rudy is also fondly remembered by his sister-in law Elisabeth and her husband August, and by his nieces and nephews, who all adored their Onkel Rudy, and have many fond memories of him.
Rudy was predeceased by his sisters Maria and Bernadette.
Rudy lived in the New Tecumseth area for 50 years and was respected and loved by many. Retiring from the TTC/Gray Coach after 30 years, Rudy began his post retirement career of home building. After building close to 20 homes in the New Tecumseth area, his final project was to build a beautiful home for his family near Cookstown. He also proudly contributed his skills to the Alliston Habitat for Humanity building project.
Before moving to Waterloo to be closer to his family, Rudy and Emmi lived in the wonderful community of Briar Hill for 20 years. He cherished the friendships and memories that were made there.
Rest in Peace. We have truly lost a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. We love you.
