Roy Wayne Renaud
March 25, 1955 -July 3, 2023
ARNPRIOR – Roy Wayne Renaud, 68, passed away peacefully at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Monday, July 3, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Stacey Ayotte and a pillar of love and strength for his family. Roy was the proud father of Amanda (Steve), Roy Jr., Jessica, and Alex. His legacy is carried forward by his cherished grandchildren: Brayden, Paige, Ethan, and Daphne, who brought immense joy to his life. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his numerous nieces and nephews, and his cousin Skippy (Mina). A dear brother, he is survived by Ellen (Maurice) of Ottawa, Ron (Diane) of Arnprior, Roger, Ralph (Christine) of Ottawa, Robert, and Margaret, both of Arnprior. He was predeceased by his infant brother Ricky, and his brother Leo (late Tasha). Born to the late Theophile and Melissa (Schultz) Renaud, Roy held his family ties close to his heart. Skilled in maintenance, his resourceful nature and work ethic were an inspiration to many. He proudly served as a Commissionaire, demonstrating his commitment to public service. Roy was known for his love of scary movies, a hobby that brought him much enjoyment and allowed him to connect with many others. Visitation for Roy will be held at the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, on Monday, July 10, 2023, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., and after 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning. A funeral service will then be held in the Boyce Chapel, Tuesday July 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Arnprior Malloch Road Cemetery. In memory of Roy’s generous spirit, the family requests that you consider passing along a kind gesture to a stranger in need or donating to a charity of your choice.
He will be remembered not only for his diligent work and service, but also for his kindness and love towards his family and friends. His laughter, wisdom, and playful spirit will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
