Obituary
Roy Ward passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023 after reaching the age of 71 years old. After months of his battle with cancer, he died peacefully at home.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years Mary Lynn, his sons Ryan (Michelle), Denny (Deanna), Nick (Brittany) and his grandchildren Jaiden, Madison, Jaxon, Vennice, HarLynn, Nikita, and Jemma who will miss him dearly. Lovingly remembered by his siblings Les, June, Eileen, Norma and Gale and their families.
Roy will be remembered by family and friends as a loving and proud husband, father, and grandpa. He loved his family more than anything. He was a talented and generous goldsmith who built countless beautiful pieces that will be treasured by many for a lifetime. He always brought positivity and a smile to all those around him. He will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Sunday, February 26th 2023 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
If you desire, donations are welcome in Roy’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
