As Luke Bryan sang, ‘Born here, live here, die here’. Born and raised in Bowmanville, ON., passed away November 5th 2022 at home at the age of 81years. Husband and family man to his wife and two kids. Beloved husband to Nancy for 51 years. Missed greatly by his daughter Karen and her husband John Gionet, and his son, Steve and his wife Christine. Loved deeply by his four grandchildren, Maddy Ellis, Faith Gionet, Dakota Gionet and Logan Ellis-Alldread who will all remember listening to his stories. Retired from the Municipality of Clarington of 28 years as a heavy equipment operator. A member of the Hope Agricultural Heritage Club with the love of green and yellow…John Deere! In honour of his respect and wishes, a cremation but no service at this time. Plans for Celebration of his life in Spring 2023, details to follow at later time. With the love and support any donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation greatly appreciated.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday May 6, 2023 from 2pm to 4:30pm at Maple Grove United Church, 2197 Maple Grove Road, Bowmanville.
