BEYNON, Rosemary Muriel, 91, formerly of Tavistock, passed away on Saturday evening July 8, 2023 at her residence.
She was born on May 14, 1932 a daughter of the late Edgar and Muriel (Sims) Wright.
Rosemary worked with her husband, Carl, at Beynon’s Jewelry Stores in Tavistock and New Hamburg. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sebastopol-Tavistock and a member of the Lutheran Church Women (LCW). She loved music and was a member of the Church Choir and also a member of the Stratford Choir of several years. Family and friends were always important to her.
She married Carl M. Beynon at Oak Ridges, ON. on April 18, 1953. Carl died on November 16, 2007.
Rosemary is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Joanne and Brian Wilhelm, Susan and Brian Mohr, Sandra and Ray Entmaa; eight grandchildren, Barb Wilhelm, Chrissy Yantzi, Deb Wilhelm, Kyle Wilhelm (Nicola), Jeff Mohr, Julie Mosterman (Rob), Jason Entmaa, Kevin Entmaa (Haley); eight great grandchildren, Cooper and Leni Yantzi; Bodhi and Summer Wilhelm; Carl, Natalie, Bryce and Josie Mosterman; sister-in-law; Doris Patrick; brothers-in-law, Bob Sulphur and Ray Wideman.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Harold Wright, Jim Wright, Jack Wright (Nanette) and Glen Wright; sisters, Elaine Eyres (Chris) and Lois Wideman.
Relatives and friends will be received in the West Room of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sebastopol-Tavistock on Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 10 am to 10.45 am. The funeral service will be held in the church at 11 am. The Rev. Hans J.W. Borch will officiate. Interment in the church cemetery. Reception following.
