Rose LeBlanc, 93, of Pointe-du-Chêne, passed
peacefully away surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, March
29th, 2023, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC.
Born in Shediac, she was the daughter of the late Euclide and Amanda
(Doiron) Léger.
She will be sadly missed by her nine children: Jean-Guy
(Stella) of Shediac, Gilles (Claudette) of Grand-Barachois, Michel
(Charlene) of Shediac, Frank (Roger) of Dieppe, Omer of Shediac, Anne
(Jean-Guy) of Dieppe, Nicole of Dieppe, Pierrette Langis (Danny) of
Shediac, and Paulette (Tammy) of Shediac; 12 grandchildren: Jean-Guy,
Pierre, Janelle, Joel, Lise, Luc, Mathieu, Nathalie, Manon, Joline,
Isabelle, and Nadia; 10 great-grandchildren: Maxime, Félix,
Tori, Christian, Parise, Jasmine, Breanna, Gabrielle, Cedric, and
Clara, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the last
surviving member of her immediate family.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Azor
LeBlanc (2011); one son, Charles (1992); four sisters: Simone,
Germaine, Jeannine, and Cécile.
A funeral service will be celebrated at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac, on Monday, April
3rd at 3 pm. There will be no visitation.
Interment will be in the St-Joseph parish cemetery,
Shediac.
In memory of Rose, a contribution to a charity of the
donor’s choice would be appreciated.
The funeral mass will be videotaped, and the video will be
available on Rose’s obituary on our website by the end of
the day.
