Obituary
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Rose-Délima Marie (Richard) Daigle, which occurred on Sunday, September 10th, 2023, at the Dr. VA Snow Centre. Born 1937, in Kent Lake, NB, she is the daughter of the late Julien and Lodia (Chevarie) Richard. In her earlier years, Rose worked as an LPN at the DVA Centre in Saint John. She later worked at Tim Horton’s for 17 years before retiring in 1996. Rose enjoyed knitting, bowling, playing cards and baking. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Rose is survived by her daughter Nicole Daigle (Jeff Folkins) of Kingston, NB; son Daniel Daigle (Monique Leger) of Quispamsis; brothers Zénon Richard (Ida) of Richibucto, NB, André Richard (Zélande) of Dieppe, NB, Léon Richard (Sandra) of St. Charles, NB; sisters Emilie Pellerin of Blacks Harbour, Cécile Richard of Saint John, Dorina Gates (Edward) of Belleisle Creek, NB, Angela Stewart (Ralph) of St. Louis, NB; aunts Marguerite and Marie; sisters-in-law Linda and Delora; grandchildren Edward, Scott, Émilie and Annabelle, great grandchildren Kelsey and Vanessa; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Along with her parents, Rose was predeceased by her husband Fidèle, brothers Delphis, Azade, Théophile and sisters Rose-Aline and Sr. Anne-Marie.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (5066462424) with visitation being held on Thursday, September 14th from 6 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday, September 15th from 1 to 2 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service in the Fundy chapel at 2 p.m. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Donations in memory of Rose, may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Alzheimer’s Society.
