Obituary For Rose Alice Badger
Rose Alice Badger, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of smith, AB, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at the Grande Prairie Care Centre, at the age of 81 years.
Rose was born in Grande Prairie, on March 5, 1941. She was raised on a farm in Bad Heart, AB, for the first couple of years. Her family then moved to a farm north of smith. Rose worked as a bank teller in Grande Prairie, and later became a homemaker and helped her husband Bill run their farm.
Rose was great at remembering birthdays and names, and she loved to visit and chat. She also loved animals.
Rose enjoyed crocheting, knitting, playing guitar, singing, baking, gardening, participating in events at the Care Centre, and berry picking.
Rose will be sadly missed by her husband Bill; children: Janice (Jim), Marvin (Lily), Lyle (Karen), and Cindy (Dwayne); grandchildren: Bruin (Katy), Alecia (Tyson), Will, Kristin, Hailey, Raylene, Aimee, Melanie, and Melissa; as well as siblings: Larry, Dale, Shirley, and Ronny (Annabelle).
Rose was predeceased by her parents Bruno and Alice Braumberger; as well as siblings: Ernie (Louise), Ray, Danny (Angie), Gary, Dennis, (Chuck), Betty, and John.
