Following a lengthy battle with cancer, it is with deep
sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Rosalie Harmon. On
May 24, 2023 Rosalie passed away at the age of 58 in the South Shore
Regional Hospital.
Rosalie is survived by her mother
Laraine Harmon of Crescent Beach. Nephew Michael & Amy McLeod
and their children Taylor, Jayden and Cohen of Stony Plain AB. Ben
McLeod & Louise Pil and their son Darius of Halifax. She is
preceded in death by her Father Ronald Harmon, and Nephew Ryan
McLeod.
Rosalie was born in Warwick, Rhode Island USA .
They moved back to Crescent Beach when she was a toddler. She made her
life with her parents and her three Nephews Michael, Ben and Ryan who
she treasured. She was a loving and devoted Auntie to her nephews, but
mostly took on a motherly role for them. She had many talents and a
vivacious personality. Her paintings had an array of creativity, from
sceneries on canvas, rocks or even bird houses. She had a love for
animals and would make treats for the neighbourhood dogs. The dogs
would follow behind the car to her home for her tasty creations. She
would also do her farmers markets where she would sell her art for all
to enjoy. Her weekly coffee hours at Petite Riviere United Church Hall
were a highlight for her to socialize with her many friends she had
made over the years.
Rosalie always loved spending time
together with her family. They would regularly come out at the round
turn at Green Bay for cookouts and having coffee on the deck of Aunt
Greta’s Airstream. You could always find her watching the
winter storms on the ocean with her Mother Laraine. Rosalie loved
driving around and she was always on the lookout for her roadside
treasures!
Visitation will be held from 6-8 on Monday in
the R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville. The funeral service will be
held at the Bridgewater Open Bible Church on May 31 at 1:30 pm, Pastor
Nathan Hawboldt officiating. Family flowers only. Memorial donations

pop bottle tabs, so there will be a basket at the Funeral Home, if
anyone would like to bring some, which will in-turn be donated to the
Lions Club. Special thanks to Halifax Cancer Care
Centre ,The Lodge That Gives, South Shore Regional Hospital,
