It is with saddened hearts that the family of Ronald Wayne MacDonald announce his passing on February 11, 2023 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born in Upham NB on August 7th 1953 he was the son of the late William and Hazel (Kilpatrick) MacDonald. Ron will be deeply missed by his loving wife Susan; his son Bradley (Jessica) and his daughter Sara; his brothers: Fred MacDonald (Valerie) and Stewart MacDonald (Heather); his precious grandchildren who were the joy of his life, Kathryn, Charlotte, Henry, and Alyssa; many nieces and nephews; as well as by many extended family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, Ron was predeceased by his sister Ruth MacDonald and his sister-in-law Melanie MacDonald. Ron worked for more than 50 years in construction for numerous companies including S W Mullin Construction Ltd., Valley Excavation Service Inc., retiring with the Town of Quispamsis in 2018.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424). As per Ron’s request, there will be no services held at this time.
