Ron Dougherty, 77, of Ottawa, passed away on January 3, 2023.
Ron Dougherty was born in Beachburg, Ontario to Harold and Marjorie on October 20, 1945. He married Lynn Dougherty on July 25, 1970.
He was a devoted volunteer with the Ottawa West Golden Knights Hockey Association. He enjoyed playing cards with his friends and family, supervising his children’s construction projects and spending time on the farm.
Ron is survived by Lynn. His Sisters, Eleanor McLaughlin, Bethea Little (Ralph), Marg Behnke (Terry), Lynn Hawthorne, and his brother Robert Dougherty. His children Trevor (Teena), Travis (Selain) and Tristan (Amy). Grandchildren Kourtney, Trinity, Sawyer, Kyra, Kaden, Wyatt and Tessa.
Ron is preceded in death by Edith Simpson and Faye Anderson.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Ron with his family during visitation at the Murphy Funeral Home, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Sunday January 15th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m.
