BYERS: Ronald Lloyd – passed away peacefully at Freeport Hospital, Kitchener on Tuesday, July 25, 2023. Rev. Ron Byers of Kitchener and formerly of Plattsville in his 91st year.
Beloved husband of the late Lois Mae (Gilchrist) Byers who predeceased him November 25, 2023. Dear father of Paul & Nancy of Kitchener and Faith & husband Dan Davison of Eden. Foster dad to Dustin Commando & wife Elaine of Golden Lake and Barbara Walker-Ruby of Kitchener. Sadly, missed by his grandchildren Amy & husband Max, Christopher & wife Amanda, Scott, Isabel, Jenna and Jacob. Great grandfather of Gabriel Davison. Survived by sister-in-law Sandra Byers.
Predeceased by his parents John & Lillian (Ressor) Byers, brothers Jack and Gordon, sisters Pat and Muriel.
At Ron’s request he has donated his body for medical research and education at the University of Waterloo. There will be no visitation or service.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Glendinning Funeral Home, Plattsville.
The family would like to thank the staff of Freeport Hospital and Trinity Village Studios for the care and comfort given to Ron in his final chapter.
