LOWE, Ronald Clarke (August 28, 1936 – May 12, 2023)
Ronald Clarke Lowe, passed away peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, on Friday, May 12, 2023, in his 87th year. Ron is dearly missed by his much loved wife Marion (Murray) Lowe, of Shedden. Loved and remembered by Cindy (Steve) Paul, Steven (Julie) Timewell, and their families. Survived by his Uncle Ross Gray, of Peterborough, ON. Ron is predeceased by his son Kevin Lowe and only cousin Karen Banjavich (Mark).
Ron was born in Tillsonburg, ON, the son of the late Norm and Laura Lowe. Ron was a dedicated employee for 35 years with the Ontario Ministry of Transportation, where he retired as a district manager in Kingston. Ron enjoyed boating, travelling, sunsets, fine dining, gardening, winters in Florida, and government politics. Ron was an Elder with Central United Church, St. Thomas and for many years was a member of the St. Thomas Public Golf Course.
As per Ron’s wishes, there will be no funeral. A private service will be held at a later date. Everyone who knew Ron is invited to share favourite memories, photos, or contribute memorial donations may be made to the “Salvation Army”, or the “Canadian Cancer Society” or to the charity of one’s choice, via Ron’s online tribute page at www.verhoevefuneralhomes.com or by contacting the Maurice J.
