June 12th, 1936 – May 5th, 2023
Ronald Blair Parks passed peacefully at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital on May 5th, 2023 in his 87th year, going to his eternal home. Son of the late Hugh Parks and Wilma Seamans. Mourned by his wife Kathaleen and three sons Lowell (Sandi), Thane, and Owen. Ron served in the Navy, as well as the Windsor Police Service, where he then retired to his paradise on Mink Lake, to be closer to his family and his grandchildren.
Ron often reminisced about his family and their general store, down east, and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed going for walks, listening to the loon calls from the lake, as well as coffee on his deck with a great book. Grampie will be greatly missed by his grandchildren and great grandchildren Corbin (Brooke), Maedoc, McKinley, and Murdoc, Mavric (Diana), Owen, Olivia and Paisley, Teagan (Corbin J.) Griffin and Davine.
Also survived by his brothers and sisters Christine (late Jack Shaw), Hugh Jr. (Karen), Linda Crosby (Charles ), Joanne (David), John (Kathleen), Dorthy Santerfeit (Billy), Juliette (Gene), Charles (Lynn Morneault), and many nieces and nephews.
Professional arrangements entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 10th, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Eganville Baptist Cemetery.
