Ronald Bernard Michael McDonald passed peacefully away Sunday, August 20th, 2023, in his 80th year at Western Memorial Hospital, Corner Brook, NL.
Ronald was born April 14th, 1943 in Corner Brook, NL to Ronald McDonald and Alice (nee Barker) both previously deceased. Ron grew up in Deer Lake, NL and raised his family there. He was a hard worker (electrician), he loved hockey (especially his Habs) fishing and mostly spending time with his family.
Ron is survived by his loving wife Margaret McDonald of 58 years and their 5 children – Travis (Samantha), Paul (Darlene), Sherri-lynn (Timothy), Terri-lynn (Romeo) and Ronnie Jr. His sister Helen Heffler and brother Gerry McDonald. He is also survived by many grandchildren whom he loved more than life – Laura, Megan, Brody, Wayken , Jenna, William, Justin, Nicole, Dylan, Stephanie, Kyle, Brittany, Luca, Marco, Samantha and Kyra. And many Great-grandchildren – Marshall, Cayleigh, Liam,Mischa, Marilyn, Amarra, Ashlyn, Tessa, Jaxon, Bentley, Greyson, Addilynn, Coltyn, Sonia (his little bumblebee),Brooklyn and Connor.
Viewing at Parsons Funeral Home, 63 Main St N, Deer Lake, NL, Friday, August 25th 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. Church service Saturday, August 26th at 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Parish, 21 Upper Nicholsville Rd, Deer Lake, NL. Reception to follow at the Parish Hall.
