Smith; Ronald “Ron” Alexander – Peacefully at his home, Ron passed away on Thursday, April 6th, 2023 at the age of 76. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Smith (nee Poirier). Lovingly remembered by his daughter Lesley Dunn (Scott) and grandson Brayden and granddaughter Bayleigh. He was the brother-in-law to Paul (Bonnie) Poirier, Jerome Poirier, late Leo Poirier and late Raymond (Karen) Poirier. Predeceased by his siblings Bill (Mary) Smith, Teresa (Harry) Leonard, Nancy (Gilbert) Ripley, and Jack (Annette) Smith. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
Special thank you to Ron’s psw Shannon, CBI nurse Chelsea and palliative care Dr Natalie Kondor. You will be dearly missed, fondly remembered and forever in our hearts.
Visitation will be held from 12 pm – 2pm at the Wartman Funeral Home – Kingston on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, followed by a Liturgy of the Word in the funeral home at 2 pm. Reception will follow service. Aquamation has taken place. Interment will take place in the spring in Alexandria.
Friends desiring may contribute to the UHKF – Hotel Dieu Hospital in memory of Ron. On-line condolences at www.wartmanfuneralhomes.com.
