On August 2, 2023, Mr. Roland Hunter of Saddle Lake Cree Nation passed away at the age of 53 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle; 2 sons, Roland Thunder & Blaze; 3 daughters, Desiree (Billy), Lacey (Barry) Rain & Regan; 5 grandchildren, Sebastian, Clementine, Mickey, Silver & Bellamy; mother, Jeanette; 2 brothers, Tyson & Danny (Ty); 2 sisters, Jody & Trish. Roland was predeceased by his father, Ernest; sister, Tammy & brother-in-law, Harold. A Wake will be held on Friday, August 4 (leaving Grace Gardens at 11:00 a.m.) at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 5 at 1:00 p.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
