C’est avec le coeur lourd que nous avons le regret de vous annoncer le décès de M. Roger «Sweet Pea» George, survenu au département des soins palliatifs de l’Hôpital de Magog le mardi 6 juin 2023 à l’âge de 85 ans.
Il laisse dans le deuil sa fille Wendy (Peter et leur chien Puddles), son fils Jeffrey, sa sœur Patricia (Philippe), ses beaux-enfants, ses neveux et nièces, autres parents et amis.
Il était le fils de feu Hannah Tulgetske et de feu Reginal George. Il était le frère de feu Betty, feu Jack, feu Robert, feu Reginald Junior et feu Mary et le conjoint de feu May Kirby.
Il nous manquera à tous, de près et de loin.
La famille vous accueillera le dimanche 18 juin 2023 à compter de 11h au Parc André-Gagnon (parc municipal) à Mansonville, situé face à l’église Baptiste, suivi d’une célébration en mémoire à sa vie à 13h. Par la suite l’inhumation aura lieu au cimetière Protestant de Mansonville. Il a été confié au salon funéraire

It is with heavy hearts that we sadly announce the passing of Roger, aka Sweet Pea, George on Tuesday, June 6, 2023. He passed away at palliative care at Magog Hospital at the age of 85.
He was predeceased by his mother and father, Hannah Tulgetske and Reginald George and his siblings Betty, Jack, Robert, Reginald Junior and Mary. He was also predeceased by his partner for several years May Kirby. He leaves to mourn his daughter Wendy (Peter and dog Puddles), his son Jeffrey, his sister Patricia (Philippe), step-children, several nieces, nephews and other family members; and friends.
He will be sadly missed by all, from near and far.
There will be a celebration of life on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at Parc André-Gagnon (municipal park) in Mansonville, facing the Baptist church. Visiting hours will be from 11 am to 1 pm, followed by the funeral service and the burrial.
