Rodney passed away in Sudbury on Friday, May 26, 2023 at the age of 48.
Rodney was born in Sudbury son of Jarvis (predeceased) and Judy (Pitawanakwat) Trudeau of Buzwah.
Loving brother of Mark, Jules (predeceased), Alison (predeceased) and Chelsea (special friend Dwayne Assinewai) all of Wikwemikong,
special brother of Johnathan Fisher.
Father of Sierra, Kiera and Camero (Cammy Bear)
and special dad of Mitch Peltier.
Uncle of Haley, Cameron, Carson, Landon, Jordan, Kayle, Derrian, Garrett, Jorja-Leona, Indiana, Houston-Allison and Memphis-Jewel.
Loving grandson of William and Helen Trudeau (both predeceased) and Moses and Leona Pitawanakwat (both predeceased).
Godfather to Nanny, Payton and Landon.
Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was a musician, entertainer, carpenter and mechanic. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting and his motorcycling.
Friends and relatives will gather at Rodney’s home,
on 493 Lakeshore road, Buzwah
on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 12:00 p.m.
Then to St. Ignatius Church, Buzwah
on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 12:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass
will be held at St. Ignatius Church, Buzwah
on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
with Father Paul officiating.
Cremation to follow
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the
Heart and Stroke Foundation or Nadmadwin Mental Health.
