Rodney Allen Pletzer passed away at the West Parry Sound Health Centre, on Sunday, July 9th, 2023, in his 98th year.
Beloved husband of Eileen (Pawlech) for 68 years. Loving father of Ronald (Valerie); Daniel (Suzanne); David (Laura); and Randy (Michelle). Cherished Grandpa of Candy, Jim (Carla), and Jenna (Cindy); Kelsey (Justin), and Jordan (Dominic); Holly (Howie) and Riley (Alyson); and Ryan and Jeff (Shay-lynn). Dear Great Grandpa of Hayden, Henry, Eliza, Liam, Ava, Ainsleigh, Ava, and Alaia. Dear brother of Eileen Whittal, and the late Wallace, Evelyn, Leith, Ruby, Iris, Hazel, and Raymond. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Memorial Visitation in celebration of Rod’s life will take place at the Logan Funeral Home (705-746-5855), 81 James Street, Parry Sound on Saturday, July 15th, from 11:00 – 12:00 noon, with eulogies taking place at 12:00 noon. Reception to follow.
Graveside Service and interment at Orange Valley Road Cemetery, Magnetawan, at a later date.
