Obituary of Robin Geoffrey Philips
Passed away peacefully at Maple View Lodge in Athens, on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at the age of 73. Beloved husband and best friend to Sheila (nee Bain). Loving and devoted father to Jason Philips, Jeana (Steven) Wells and Melissa (Howard) Zachau. Robin will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, his sister-in-law Karen Philips, many extended members of the family, including Sheila’s entire family. He was predeceased by his parents, Eric and Bernice (nee Stevens) Philips and his brother Neil Philips. The family would like to thank the medical staff and caregivers at Maple View Lodge for their outstanding love and care for Robin, during his time while living there. There will be a service to celebrate his life at St. Paul’s Newbliss Anglican Church, 626 Line Rd 4 Jasper on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 1 p.m. Following the service, there will be a reception in the Church Hall. Private interment will take place at St. Ann’s Cemetery in Eastons Corners at a later date. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Lanark County Alzheimer Society or to Parkinson Canada.
