Robin Shawn VanBuskirk,
55, of Moncton, passed away on Tuesday April 25, 2023 at the Dr.
Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on February 28, 1968 in Moncton, he was
the son of the late Eileen (VanBuskirk) Savoie.
Robin had the biggest
heart. He was funny and loved life to the fullest. Robin was a huge
fan of the Montreal Canadiens and he loved to travel as well as spend
time with his wife.
He is survived by his
wife, Sherry Webb; two step-children: Tiffany (Brandon) of Oromocto,
and Jonathan of Saint John; one brother, Brian Upham (Debbie) of
Moncton; his beloved cat, Smokey, who was Daddy’s Boy; as
well as many extended family members and friends.
Besides his mother, he
was predeceased by his step-father, Tony Savoie.
The family will receive
condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church
Street, Moncton (858-1900) where the funeral will be celebrated on
Sunday April 30 at 2 pm. Visiting hours are Saturday April 29 from 7
to 9 pm and Sunday from 1 pm until time of funeral. In memory of
Robin, a contribution to Diabetes Canada would be
appreciated.
