Robert Fulton Longbottom, a resident of Chatham passed away peacefully Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance. Born in Chatham 76 years ago. Son of Agnes (nee Kelly) and Herbert Longbottom. Survived by brother Don (Barb) and sister Mary Edna Filby, sisters in law Judy and Nora Longbottom. Predeceased by brothers Andy and Danny and sisters Joyce Beausejour (Milard), Betty Reynold ((Earl) and Ruth McTavish. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended Community Living family and Church family. One word to describe Bobby woul d be LOVE, as he radiated his love for life, everyone, everything and especially our Lord Jesus.
All are welcome to attend a visitation from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at Thames Christian Fellowship (400 Park Ave East). A funeral service will follow visitation at 11:30 am in the church.
Burial will take place at Arnold Cemetery.
