Obituary
J. Robert Kelly, 95, of K.E. Spencer Memorial Home, and formerly of Indian Mountain, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, March 7, 2023. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Reid and Grace (Horsman) Kelly.
Robert worked for many years farming, and managed a Christmas tree yard over the years. His passion was the sugar woods and being outdoors sugar making.
Robert will be sadly missed by his children, Jean Kelly, June Tucker (Jimmy), Allan Kelly (Holly), Carl Kelly (Cathy) and Dan Kelly (Lenora); grandchildren, Jennifer DeLong (Judd), Christopher Trites (Tammy), Jenna Wood (Jay), Jessica Kelly, Amanda Kelly (Mike) and Megan Kelly (Ryan); great grandchildren, Austin, Phelan, Deaglan, Carson, Dylan, Jack and Mya; brother, Harold Kelly; as well as nieces, Tess, Donna and Gail; and extended family members.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Lawrence.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00. A Service to Celebrate and Honour Robert’s life will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 2:00 pm from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel. Reception will follow. Interment will be held in Stilesville Cemetery in the spring.
