CESANEK, Robert Jerome
Passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Southbridge Long Term Care Residence, London.
Robert (Bob) was born 89 years ago in Preston, Ontario, a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Zamesko) Cesanek.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Frances Ruth (Lawrence) Cesanek of 69 years. Cherished father of Bob (Sharon) and Larry (Mary Ellen). Proud grandfather of Kate, Kristen, Sarah & Nick. He is also survived by his 9 wonderful great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by siblings Joseph, Elizabeth, Adelaide, and Valerie.
Bob was very proud of his 40+ year career in Banking, which took he and the family to many cities and towns around Ontario. Upon retirement, he and Fran settled in Morningside community in New Hamburg where they lived for 28 years until recently. They made many wonderful friends there and appreciate the support and kindness shown to them.
At his request, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
As expressions of sympathy, donations would be accepted to Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society and can be done through the funeral home.
