BROWN, Robert Carlyle “Bob”
passed peacefully on Monday, July 3, 2023 surrounded by the love of family at Erie Shores Healthcare in Leamington at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Liz for 64 years. Loving Dad of David (Frances), Mike (Shelley), Leigh Ann VanderVecht (Ron) and late Matthew (1992). Proud Grandpa of Stephanie (Luke), Danielle (Christopher), Matthew (Michelle), Reed and Great Grandpa of Max. Dearest son of the late Mel and Rhoda Myers. Predeceased by his siblings, Marie Snively, Hazel McKenzie, Jean Ringrose, Alice Hartoon, Doreen Delzene, Dorothea Hartoon, Hilda Ringrose, Carol Desjardins, Clarence “Red”, Cliff and survived by Ken Myers. Bob worked many years as a C.M.A. working for Stokely’s, Rockwell International, Rayco Stamping and Fazio Law Firm. He then spent his retirement years running Brown’s Orchard. He was a member of the Es Hunt Club, Es Legion Br. 201 and their golf league and a member of Trinity Anglican Church. Bob was a Lifelong fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and an avid hunter and fisherman. Visiting will take place at Reid Funeral Home, 87 Maidstone Ave. E. Es (519-776-4233) on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 6-9 pm. Funeral Service to celebrate Bob’s life will be held from the funeral home on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 11 am with visiting one hour prior. Interment to follow at Greenhill Cemetery, Kingsville. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Erie Shores Healthcare Foundation, Ronald McDonald House or Trinity Anglican Church.
