Robert passed away peacefully at home in Wikwemikong, surrounded by family at the age of 76.
Predeceased by his wife Angeline (2018).
Predeceased by his parents Cecile and Eli Otakwadjiwan (Lewis).
Beloved Dad of Janice, Gina (Mark), Doris, Rebecca, Robert Jr., Darlene (Paul) and Christopher (Amanda).
Step Father to Bonita and Bruce Stoneypoint.
Loving grandpa of 23 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren. Predeceased by 3 grandchildren.
Brother of Nancy, Joseph, Jerome, Lucy, Lyda and Ronnie (predeceased).
Survived by siblings Marilyn of Sioux Lookout, Tony (Yolanda) and Elaine (Billy).
Survived by god children Justina Johnston and Amanda Otosquaiob.
Bobby will also be missed by numerous family and friends and special friends Peter S, Dave M., Ronnie R., Andrew P., Donny and Mike A.
Bobby was a man of many accomplishments. He received a gold shovel for planting a million trees with E.B. Eddy and he was a very proud business owner and operator of Lewis Disposal, Biinchigedaa for 30 years. In 2003 Biinchigedaa was awarded with a business award. When he wasn’t working Bobby loved watching wrestling, going to the horse pulls, going to pow wow’s, working as a seasonal fire fighter (crew-boss), playing solitaire and listening to classic country music.
The family would like to thank Wikwemikong Home Care nurses and PSW’s, Ruth Guy and Kim Genereux.
