Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Robert Allan “Rob” Galbraith which occurred at his home on Wednesday, January 18th, 2023. Born October 16th, 1962, in Middleton, NS, he is the son of Nancy (Mills) and the late Emery Galbraith. Rob was an Industrial Mechanic for NB Power for 30 years before retiring in 2019. He was a member of Edith Avenue Baptist Church for over 30 years. He enjoyed building, painting, hiking and going for walks. He especially loved his family and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Along with his mother, Rob is survived by his loving and devoted wife Lynn (Wilson) of 34 years. He was a proud father of sons Shawn Galbraith and Jeremy Galbraith (Katrina) all of Prince of Wales, NB; brother Andrew Galbraith (Elaine) of Victoria, BC; sister Karen Galbraith Smith and nephew Matthew Smith both of Saint John.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). As per Rob’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral service. A Graveside Service in Lorneville will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Rob may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
