Levesque: Richard Rene Leo Joseph
A resident of Chatham, Richard Levesque passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital surrounded by family on March 28, 2023 at the age of 73.
Born in North Bay, Richard was the son of the late Leo and Lina (nee Shank) Levesque.
Beloved husband of 47 years to Cathy (nee Quick).
Survived by Daughter, Melanie (Nathan) Trudell.
Loving grandpa to Nolan, Madison and Griffin Trudell.
Richard was the brother of Raymond Levesque (Late Mary), Donald Levesque (Linda), Joanne Bale (Late Jim) and MaryAnn Levesque.
Predeceased by siblings, Shirley Desrochers (Claude) and Mionne Durocher (Steve).
Brother-in-law to Janet and John Hess.
Will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Missed as well by long time friend Bob (Carol) Little.
Richard was a devoted sports fan, especially when it came to the “good ol hockey game”. He was a long standing season ticket holder for the Chatham Maroons and a life long Montreal Canadiens fan.
Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street Chatham on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 10:00 am until the Funeral Service at 11:00am. Cremation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Richard to the Kidney Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
