Richard Dolezinski, beloved husband, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend, passed away on April 20, 2023, at the age of 68. He was born on November 4, 1954, in Sudbury, ON, to the late Joseph and Josephine Dolezinski.
Richard lived a vibrant life filled with a variety of passions and interests. In his youth, he was an avid athlete, enjoying football, skiing, cycling, and motorcycle riding.
Ricky had a zest for life and pursued many hobbies with enthusiasm. He had a green thumb and found joy in gardening, as well as in home renovations, poodle training, and his prowess as a fantastic chef. He was well-known in Old Ottawa South for his playful spirit, and his love for his many poodles who were his constant companions.
Ricky will be deeply missed by his devoted wife, Heidi, and his nephews, Max (Luisana) and Devyn, and great-niece Talia. He also leaves behind his sister-in-law, Birgit, as well as numerous cousins and friends who were touched by his warm heart, infectious laughter, and kind soul.
Ricky’s presence in this world will be forever cherished, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
