In Loving Memory of Rena Amendola
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in Yucaipa California on April 19th 2023 at the age of 96. She was born in Italy on September 7, 1926.
Beloved wife of the late Francesco Amendola. Loving Mamma to Elio (Rosa) the late Anna (Dominic), the late Maria (Agostino), Luciano (Sandra) and Angela. Cherished Nonna of Daniel, Roberto, Nancy, Jennifer, Frank, Julia, Eulalia, Irene, Michael, Vincent, Massimo, and Francesca. Loving sister of Santo (Carmen), Mario (Maria), Late Maurizio (Yolanda), late Ottavio, late Conretta, late Vittorio (Annette). Late Giovanni (the late Gina), Late Sister Mafalda. Rena will be lovingly remembered by her many Nieces, nephews, extended family and friends in Canada, USA and Italy.
A Service to remember and celebrate Rena will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive in Oshawa (905)440 3595 on Monday June 12th at 9:30am. A Private interment will follow. I Lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.

I came into her Family about 10 years ago with my late Mom Edith ,Rena welcomed us with open arms .we took a great love for her
I had many chats with her when doing her hair occasionally.We did a lot of sign language too ,she tried very hard to talk to me in half English and Italian
Through Domenic who loved her very much I started dating, he would do a lot of translations between us
He was a great son in law ,he’s been in the family about 56 years,loved by all & he loved the family too very much.
We’ll miss her very much RIP Rena
