Boulanger, Reine Gervaise (née Rondeau), age 92, formerly of Timmins, Ontario, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 21st, 2023 in Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton, Ontario. Reine is preceded in death by husband, Roméo Boulanger, sons: Michel and Marc, parents: Noé and Béatrice Rondeau, brothers: Paul and wife Yolande, Len and wife Claudette, Fern, and Olivier Rondeau, grand-daughter, Casie Moreau (née Watt), niece, Kim Rondeau, nephew, Denis Rondeau, son-in-law, Bruce Simpson. She is survived by sister-in-law, Janet Rondeau (Fern) of Timmins, ON, by three daughters: Denise Watt (Bob) of Bathurst, NB, Lise Boulanger (Bruce) of Burlington, ON, Diane Desjardins (François) of Maryhill, ON, as well as 4 grandchildren: Jason Watt of Timmins, Julie, Joanne, & Paul Desjardins of Maryhill, and 4 great-grandchildren: Meghan & Abby Watt of Timmins, and Kora-Ann & Hannah Moreau of Bathurst, NB. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. In her lifetime, Reine was not only a devoted wife and mother, she was also an active member in the Church, reading epistles on Sundays and serving alongside her husband as baptism sponsors for the Parish. She became president of the P.T.A. when her children were in school and she enjoyed playing cards and square dancing in different social clubs. She will be remembered for her lovely and endearing smile and gentle nature. She was well loved by all who knew her. Remembrance donations to the Queens Garden Long Term Care Residence would be greatly appreciated. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday September 28, 2023 from the St. Dominique Church (Fr. Alexis O’Lenga officiating). Followed by the interment at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
