Obituary of Reginald Allen Whitman
It is with a heavy heart that I announce my father, Reginald Whitman, passed at Hospice Fredericton on April 19, 2023. He was born on April 14, 1952, in Middleton, NS.
He was a loyal member of 2 RCR, RNBR and the Commissionaires, working in that order up to his passing. He was stubborn and grouchy but all who met him loved his sense of humour and dry wit.
On behalf myself, Reginald’s son Greg, and my father’s wife, Barb, I want express our thanks for all the condolences and stories about my father. They brought us comfort during this difficult time. I would like to thank Fredericton Hospice House for their excellent care and compassion during my father’s stay. If you find it in your heart, please donate a little something to them (hospicefredericton. ca/). I would also like to thank the staff at Chalmers Hospital for their care and candor in getting us through this.
As per my father’s wishes there will be no public service and only a quiet scattering of ashes with family.
