It is with great sorrow the family announces his peaceful passing at the Timmins and District Hospital with family by his side on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at the age of 65 years. Loving uncle to Bruce W. Sanford (Laurie-Ann) of Red Deer, AB, Jennifer Sanford (John Berry) of Timmins, Chris Sanford of Airdie, AB. Great uncle to Katrina, Michelle, Bruce III, Austin, Chantal, Julie, Cole, Paige, Damian, Killian, Kaitlin and great great uncle to Kendrah, Kolton, Anastasia and Malakai. Special friend to Paulette Ferguson.
Predeceased by his parents William Potvin (1978), Therese (Joly) Potvin (1993), his sister Carole (Potvin) Sanford (2013) and his nephew Shawn Sanford (2020). As per his request, there will be no funeral service. Remembrance donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins, Ontario.
