Peacefully, at Woodingford Lodge in Tillsonburg on Monday, September 4, 2023, Ramar Gilbert Terrebrood passed away at the age of 96 years. Beloved husband to the Late Yvonne (Demeyere) Terrebrood (2018) for 67 years. Proud father to René and Jenny Terrebrood. Cherished grandfather of Sabrina Harris and Tiffany Knelsen and great-grandfather of Annabelle Tribe, Hayden Knelsen and Scarlett Knelsen. Also survived by his extended family in Belgium. Ramar was a longtime employee at Livingston Industries in Tillsonburg. He was an avid chess player, had a passion for music and loved “The Price Is Right”. In keeping with Ramar’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 6:00 – 8:00 pm. The memorial service for Ramar will be held in Ostrander’s Chapel on Monday, September 11, 2023 at 11:00 am. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the Terrebrood family.
