Professor Arnold Arthur Bowers, Ph.D.
Passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at The Village of Wentworth Heights, Hamilton in his 90th year. Predeceased by his sister Leta Fetchel. Survived by his brother Brian (Penny) Bowers and brother-in-law Joe Fetchel; uncle to Robin (Vince) Wolk and Michael (Vicky) Fetchel.
Arnold was born in Powassan and raised in North Bay. He was a lifelong teacher with a passion for education spending most of his career at the University of Toronto as a professor of English Literature. He lived most of his life in King City, Ontario where he will be remembered by many friends.
The family would like to thank the staff of The Village of Wentworth Heights, Emmas, for their compassionate care of Arnold for the past 6 years.
Private interment will be held at Powassan Union Cemetery.
