Pierrette Bourque, 89, of Moncton, passed away on Thursday
May 11, 2023 at the Landry Pavilion of Faubourg du Mascaret. Born in
Scoudouc, she was the daughter of the late Philias and Lottie
(Melanson) Melanson.
Prior to her retirement, Pierrette worked in administration
for Transport Canada.
She is survived by two grandchildren: Jacques (Sabrina) and
Julie (Sam); five great-grandchildren: Florence, Théodore,
Océane, Zachary, and Charlotte; three sisters: Simonne
Cormier (late Emile), Bernadette Bourque, and Rose-Marie Melanson
(late Clarence); one brother, Alcide (late Jean); as well as several
nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband,
Ronald; her daughter, Janice (Conrad); two brothers:
Valérie (Yolande) and Gérald
(Nadine).
As per her wishes, a private service will be celebrated at a
later date. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in
Dieppe. In memory of Pierrette, a contribution to a charity of the
donor’s choice would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements
are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre,
Moncton (858-1900).
