It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Pierre Simon Lidguerre, late of Prince Albert, SK formerly of Fond Du Lac, SK on April 12th, 2023, at the age of 86 years. Pierre was born in Uranium City, SK on May 15th, 1936, to John & Madeline Lidguerre. Pierre will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Ernestine Lidguerre, Anne (Billy) Adam, Theresa Lidguerre, & Bernadette (Marco) Theriault; his sons Peter Lidguerre, & Paul (Annette) Lidguerre; his adopted son Murphy Lidguerre; his daughter-in-law Doreen Lidguerre; his grandchildren Brent Lidguerre, Andy Lidguerre, Rodricka Lidguerre, Vincent Pische, Nathan Lidguerre, Rene (Martina) Lidguerre, Danielle Lidguerre, Gabriel Lidguerre, Dorie Lidguerre, Amanda Adams, Anita Adams, Alexandra Adams, Racheal Lidguerre, Trevlyn Lidguerre, Ryan Lidguerre, Richard Klotz, Robin Mercredi, Aries Fern, Colby Tinker, Jeminia Fern, Joey Mercredi, Jolene Mercredi, Cody Martin, Donovan Martin, Red Lidguerre, Dallas Lidguerre, Dezzari Lidguerre, Graham Fern, Isaiah Fern, Joel Lidguerre, Austin Lidguerre, Harley Theriault, Jazzy Theriault, Tonya Theriault, & Mercedes Theriault; his granddaughter-in-law Michelle Fern; his 45 great-grandchildren; his 1 great-great-grandchild; his sisters Theresa Adam, & Margaret (Roderick) Denego; his brother Jules (Doris) Lidguerre; his brother-in-law Alfred Naldzil; his sister-in-law Helen (Willie John) Laurent; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Pierre was predeceased by his parents John (Madeline) Lidguerre; his wife Martha Lidguerre; his children Roger Lidguerre, Ronnie Lidguerre, Baby Simon Lidguerre, Joseph Lidguerre, Albertine Lidguerre, & Mary Lidguerre; his grandsons Jonathan Lidguerre, Robert Lidguerre, Timothy Mercredi, & Peter Jr. Fern; his granddaughter Patricia Fern; his great-granddaughter: Mandy Sanger, & Sunshine McDonald; his sisters Judy (Leon) Mercredi, Pauline Naldzil, & Eleanor (Clement) Pische; his brothers Frank Lidguerre, Thomas Lidguerre, (Lawrence Sanger), August (Alice) Lidguerre; his brother-in-law Marvin Adam; his nephews John Mercredi, Ernie Mercredi, Napoleon Mercredi, Jimmy Mercredi, Micheal Piche, Ernie Pische, Charles Pische, Willy Whitedeer, & Pierre Whitedeer; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends. A Wake Service will be commencing Friday, April 21st, 2023, at the residence of Paul & Annette Lidguerre in Fond Du Lac, SK. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 24th, 2023, at 2 PM at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows in Fond Du Lac, SK. The Officiant will be Father Paul Oshin. The Honourary Pallbearers are Elsie Mercredi, Terry Adam, Al Woroniuk, Lucy Mercredi, Elizabeth Charlette, Nancy Sylvester (Mercredi), Celine Pearson, Dorothy Adam, Dorothy Adam, Doris Besskaystare, and all those who knew and loved Pierre. The Pallbearers are Leonard Adam, Ivan Adam, Dennis Adam, Adolphus Adam, Donald Mercredi, Clifford Lidguerre, Melvin Lidguerre, Earl Lidguerre, Alfred Jr. Naldzil, Clarence Pische, Cody Martin, Donovan Martin, Nathan Lidguerre, Dorie Lidguerre, Dallas Lidguerre, Red Lidguerre, Joel Lidguerre, Wayne Naldzil, & Devon Lidguerre.
