After a short illness on Saturday February 25, 2023, just five days after her 90th birthday at West Oak Village in Oakville. Predeceased by her husband Steve and son Jim. Mother of Bill (Deb) Lendvay, John (Wendy) Lendvoy, Susan Lendvoy (Rod), Steve Lendvoy, Phyllis Lowden, Mary Ban (Stefan) and daughter-in-law Theresa. Grandmother to 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She is survived by her brother Sid, sister Linda and sister-in-law Shirley. Phyllis was a longtime resident of the Milton and Omagh area and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. The family will receive visitors at McKersie Funeral Home, 114 Main St. E., Milton (905) 878-4452 on Thursday March 2, 2023 from 9 – 11 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. from the funeral home chapel. Private family interment to take place at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the CNIB or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.
