It is with immense sorrow that we announce the sudden passing
of Philippe Maillet, 61, of Moncton. He passed away on
Thursday January 19, 2023 in Shediac. Born in Cold Lake, AB, he was
the son of the late Ulysse and Dorilla Maillet.
He is survived by eight siblings: Paul Maillet (Nicole) of
Ottawa, ON, Pauline Watson (late Roger) of Orleans, ON, Anne Black
(George) of Campbell’s Bay, QC, Lucille Skidd (late Tim) of
Moncton, Gisele Ryan (Erwin) of Ottawa, ON, Christine Szrajer (Stefan)
of Gananoque, ON, Caroline Wilson (Steve) of Moncton, Simone Maillet
(Dominic) of Saint-Charles-sur-Richelieu, QC; three step-siblings:
Monique Jaillet (Elmo) of St-Antoine, Paul Richard of Moncton, and
Charles Richard (Janice) of Notre-Dame; as well as many nieces,
nephews, aunts, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Ulysse Maillet; his mother,
Dorilla Maillet; his step-father, Gérard Richard; and one
brother, Donald.
Interment will be at a later date at Our Lady of Calvary
cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Philippe, a contribution to The Heart
and Stroke Foundation of Canada would be appreciated. Funeral
arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, Moncton (506-858-1900).
