Meyntz: Petronella Catherina; lovingly known to all as “Nelly”,
On January 16, 2023 at Simcoe Manor Nursing Home in Beeton; Nelly suddenly passed away surrounded by her 3 children, her son in law, 2 of her granddaughters and her good friend Judy.
Nelly Meyntz (nee: Geraeds) passed away at the age of 90 years. Nelly was predeceased by her beloved husband Andre Meyntz. She was the loving mother of Rick, Lorei-An Lewis (Deacon Michael Lewis), and Allen (Judy) Meyntz. She was a devoted Oma of Amanda (Richard) Nieradka, Crystal (George) Kukucska, Andre (Jennifer) Lewis, Kristopher Meyntz, Kelly (Steve) Ples, and Megan Meyntz. A dear Great Grandmother affectionately known as Goma, of Jakub, Joshua, Evalyn, Audrey, Thomas, and William. Nelly was the beloved sister of the late Jan (the late Eve) Geraeds, Toos (the late Wiel) Bovens, the late Annie (the late Hein) Peeters, and Bea (the late Ane) Pluymen. Fondly remembered by her special friend Judy Adams. Forever in the hearts of her nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
The family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Road Tottenham on Friday January 20, 2023 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. James Church Colgan on Saturday January 21, 2023 at 11:30 am. Interment will be held at St. Patrick’s Cemetery Schomberg.
