Obituary For Peter Robert Brown
April 5th,1966 – June 28th ,2023.
Peter was born in Hylton Castle, Sunderland, County Durham, England to Kathleen (Kath) and Robert (Bob) Brown joining his sister Suzanne. He started his education at the Hylton Castle Primary School then secondary modern until 1979 when the family emigrated to Grande Cache, Alberta where his education continued until he graduated in both Nanaimo and Grande Cache.
Employment took the family first to the Yukon then Vancouver Island, Peter then lived in Hinton for several years until 1989 when he returned to Grande Cache where he lived until his passing.
He enjoyed many pastimes including swimming with the Grande Cache Otters, playing and watching soccer, fishing and drawing but he will be remembered for his love of his family. His daughter Amber, (Dawn Marie) granddaughter Airyanna, and his friends will remember him for his infectious laugh, smile and great sense of humour.
Peter was predeceased by his mother Kathleen but leaves to mourn him is his loving father Robert, sister Suzanne (Brian) niece Annice (Kyle), great nephew Liam. Special close friends were Clare, Mel and Kurt Bevan, and very good friend Dennis Arbuckle.
There will be Celebration of Peter’s life at a later date.
