Peacefully, with his family by his side on December 30, 2022, at the age of 88, we lost our devoted Father and Opa. Predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Lisa and survived by his loving partner Anne. He will be sadly missed by his children, Diane (Chris), Veronica (Dennis), Kevin (Allison), Eugene (Bonnie) and Cheryl; grandchildren Becky (Tom), Steven, Bryan (Jacqueline), Callista (Harrison), Faith, Jaynie (Isaiah) and Jonathan; and great grandchildren Savannah, Arya, Zoey, Christopher, Micah and Milo.
Peter was a loving foster father who opened his heart and home to over 50 children. Peter retired from Stelco in Hamilton where he worked as a Millwright for over 30 years.
Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St Elizabeth of Hungary Church in St Elizabeth Village (Yates Gate entrance off Garth Street, Hamilton) on Monday, January 9th at 1pm. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and PSW’s at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton for their exceptional care of our dad in his last two weeks.
