Peacefully, passed into the arms of Jesus, Monday, September 4th, 2023 at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital. Beloved only son of Alfred and Kathleen Longden (England) – both deceased. Wonderful, loving husband to his wife, Jane. Dear father of Diane (Jason) and proud, loving grandpa to Julia and James. Our sincere thanks to the nurses and P.S.W.’s on 2 South for their wonderful care while he was hospitalized. In lieu of flowers, please remember the Alzheimer Society of Oxford, Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital (Equipment Fund) or Great Lakes Christian College (Bible Department), Waterloo, Ontario. The family would like to thank Dr. Daniel Dockx (for years of his service) and more recently, Dr. Kevin Dueck. Our thanks also to Susie (LifeLabs), both nurses and P.S.W.’s from Care Partners and the staff at the VON adult daycare program in Tillsonburg. Finally, our thanks to Leah, Beth and Sue from the Alzheimer Society for their kindness and support. Visitation for Peter will be held at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Friday, September 8th, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Service for Peter will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Dale McNinch officiating. Interment will be held at the Tillsonburg Cemetery.
