Peter Honaizer, 70, passed away at home in Whitewood SK on March 28. Born in Hamilton, ON he spent most of his life in Cudworth SK raising his children as a single Father and working as a farmhand and later in road construction.
He is survived by his loving children, Johnny (Amy) and Vanessa; cherished granddaughters, Penny and Nora; sister, Jeanette Jeandron; and brothers, John, Barry, Bill, and Richard. Peter was predeceased by his brother, Denis.
A proud member of the Canadian Army Reserves from 1969 to 1972, Peter was also an active member of The Royal Canadian Legion. Known for his humour, work ethic and loyalty, Peter’s legacy will be remembered by all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, April 16th, at the Cudworth Hall.
