Percy Douglas Carr
Percy Douglas Carr passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital on Friday, January 20th, 2023 at the age of 87 years young.
Percy is survived by his wife, Beverly nee Knapp; his children Rick (Andrea), Jody (Martina), and Tracy Carr-Brooks (Christopher) and his grandchildren; Jordan, Jessica, Ian, Paedan, Carter, Sofia, Samuel and great-granddaughter Charlotte. Percy is also fondly remembered by Connie Carr, Marie Knapp, Francis Guazzelli (Rico), Linda Munro, Paul Knapp (Alice), Roger Knapp (Anna), Terry Knapp (Pam), Doug Knapp, and many nieces and nephews.
Percy is predeceased by his parents Clayton Carr and Ida Mae nee Hughes, his siblings Garnet Carr, Patricia Carr-Stockdale, and Marie Bryan nee Carr, Brothers-in-law Leonard Bryan, Roger Munro and Kevin Knapp.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Judson Funeral Home in Athens on Sunday January 29th, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Athens United Church on Monday January 30th, 2023 at 11 am. Interment Plum Hollow Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be received through the Jessica Carr Rett Syndrome Fund at the CHEO Foundation.
