Peacefully with loving family by her side on Thursday April 20, 2023. Pauline (nee Derus), of Scotland, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late John Klus (2015). Loving Mom of Stan Klus, Mary Anne & John Malecki, Dianne & Rex Nichols, Joanne & Paul Gribbon. Cherished Babcia of Jeffrey (Tamira), Justin, Kristen (Thomas), Brian (Vicki) and Ryan (Marisa). Big-Babcia of Addie, Izzy, and Alex. Also survived by her sister Bernice Malecki. Predeceased by her brother John Derus. Pauline will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Polly was a life-long member of the St. Anthony Daniel C.W.L. She loved baking, gardening, cats and most of all, her family.
Family & friends will be received at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony Daniel Church, 57 Simcoe Street, Scotland on Thursday April 27, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Brantford. We have such fond memories of ciocia Polly (and chrestny) from many years ago. Although not our true ciocia, she will always be ciocia Polly to me and my family. She was such a wonderful person with such a kind heart. She will be missed but not forgotten.
